These Terms of Service govern your use of the Belize Services marketplace. By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting a service request, saving a provider or listing, posting a review, or using any other feature, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About Belize Services

Belize Services is an independently operated marketplace and discovery website. It includes business directories, provider profiles, travel guides, customer accounts, saved items, reviews, and service request features. I operate the platform; listed providers are independent businesses and are not my employees or agents. I do not perform, supervise, or guarantee their services.

2. Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, use the marketplace lawfully, and communicate respectfully. You are responsible for checking a provider’s identity, qualifications, availability, pricing, and terms before agreeing to a service. A search, saved listing, review, message, or request does not guarantee a response, quote, booking, or completed service.

3. Provider responsibilities

Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their business information, services, qualifications, licenses, insurance, prices, availability, taxes, communications, workmanship, and compliance with applicable laws. Providers must not misrepresent their services or qualifications.

I review provider applications and profiles before publication, but a review or approval is not a guarantee of a provider’s identity, qualifications, conduct, or service quality. I may reject, restrict, edit for presentation, suspend, or remove a listing or content that is inaccurate, unlawful, unsafe, misleading, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with these terms.

4. Requests, contact, and service agreements

You may contact businesses directly using the details on their profiles, or submit a service request through the website. Request details may be reviewed by me and shared with a relevant provider to help respond to the request. Submitting a request does not create a booking or guarantee a match or response.

Any quote, booking, service arrangement, or dispute about work is between the customer and the independent provider. Customers and providers are responsible for confirming all details and payment terms directly with each other.

5. Provider plans and payments

Provider plans, prices, billing periods, and included features are shown on the pricing page or during plan selection and may change for future purchases. Paid plan payments are submitted by cash or bank transfer and require manual verification before activation. Telling me that you paid does not itself confirm payment or activate a plan. Follow the payment instructions shown for your plan and contact me if you need help with a payment request.

6. User content, reviews, and images

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, display, reproduce, resize, review, and use that content as needed to operate, maintain, and promote the relevant marketplace features. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content. Reviews must reflect your genuine experience and must not be misleading, abusive, or unlawful.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not impersonate another person or business, submit fraudulent or misleading requests or reviews, harvest contact information, upload malicious software, interfere with the website, misuse another person's information, or use the marketplace for unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. Travel guides and listing details are for general information and may become outdated. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I am not responsible for providers’ acts or omissions, service quality, injury, property damage, delays, missed appointments, pricing disputes, or losses arising from dealings between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Suspension and changes

I may suspend accounts, remove listings or content, or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the marketplace or to enforce these terms. I may update these terms as the website or my practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
